Sheffield's free community arts festival
Back in 2023
Location: Ponderosa

Currently there is small core of people that make up the steering Group who regularly meet to look at the big picture of the festival

As we build up the momentum for 2017 we are looking for people to get involved and make it happen with us.

email us if you want to help –

Peace in the Park needs YOU!

We are launching a recruitment drive in order to find volunteers to help run the festival. Key roles as well as smaller voluntary roles are available and we would love to talk to you about how you can get involved. Whether you have loads of time to spare and want to give something back to the community or whether you can only spare a few hours on the big day itself, we want to hear from you!

We are a small team of friendly people from all walks of life and we want to make sure that Peace in the Park stays on top of its game for the next festival in 2016 at the Ponderosa. In order to meet this dPitP-Teameadline, we need to raise funds and recruit people to help out. Being involved in Peace in the Park as a volunteer means you will be joining a team with a wealth of experience and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in anything from fundraising, photography, crafting, stewarding, music promotion, accounting or anything else you feel passionately about and can add to the mix.

Peace in the Park is so much more than just the one day free festival ( read our manifesto) … Fundraising continues throughout the year, be it gigs, bake offs or pop ups. We need to raise at least £20000 each year to make the festival happen and all that money comes from the generosity of the people of Sheffield. It’s quite simple… if the money is not raised, the festival will not run. The essential funds pay for things like marquees, production, toilets and much more – you get the idea. If you want to be involved but can’t make the dates – don’t worry; you can register your interest with us by and send us a line or two about what you are interested in getting involved with.

Together we can make Peace in the Park 2016 a reality!
