Seems a bit early to be planning your trip to the festival – still 4 months to go!
Anyway, I’ve added a link to a map in the countdown at the top of every page of this site.

What a great festival! Brilliant crowd at the main stage – we really enjoyed our set. Thanks to all the volunteers and organisers for all their work. Peace SCR

Hi, we are new to Sheffield, and just spotted this, would it be okay to bring a balloon modeller?

    • Davo Smith says:

We haven’t got any spare pitches or activity slots, but I can’t see a problem with just coming down, walking around and entertaining the crowds with a bit of free balloon modelling.

Hi, we are hoping to join you for the 1st time. we wondered how you are with a well behaved dog on a lead being at the festival. She goes nearly everywhere with us. Thanks a lot guys.

The event is held in a public park, so dogs are fine. Obviously, they need to be kept under control in the busy crowds and there will be loud music, so don’t bring any pets that won’t like that sort of thing!

It should go without saying that, in line with our ‘Leave no trace’ policy, we’d expect dog owners to clear up any mess left by their pets.

Hi where is the nearest tram stop ?

    • Davo Smith says:

The nearest tram stops are marked on the map on the front page ( http://goo.gl/maps/MKU9 ), but, to answer your question, the Netherthorpe Road and Infirmary Road tram stops are both about the same distance away from the park (on different sides).

Hi, I am wondering if we could be a benefactor of your most excellent Party in the Park.
We are a small charity in the centre of Sheffield that provides a drop in services for the Street Drinkers of Sheffield, all our clients are marginalised because of their addiction and we offer a sanctuary for them four days a week.

We are sticking with the two causes nominated for the 2013 event in 2014 (due to the postponement of the festival until then).

We will make sure that it is announced far and wide when the nominations for 2015 open up (probably Spring / early Summer 2014).
